AAAHHHH!
One of Jace's new favorite things is to make this really funny aaaahhh sound. (I can't believe I actually caught him doing it with my slow camera.)
He can be sweet
Jacer is definitely in the terrible twos! He is giving us a run for our money, but he is also couldn't be more fun. He loves to be outside and will fight you to the bitter end if you make him go back inside. We have had fun working out in the yard. He of course is a very big helper. I have found the trick to keeping him out of trouble is to give him a bucket with lots of treasures to carry around. He will play for hours with it adding rocks, dirt, and whatever else he can find.

Park City Vacation
Last week we were able to go on vacation to Park City for a week. It was so much fun. There is nothing better than relaxing and shopping (at least for me) for a whole week. I was even able to do a little scrapbooking. Of course Garret was very excited to go because is just happened to be when the NCAA tournament was going on. Garret's family was able to come up and spend a couple of days with us. We had a blast hanging out, swimming, shopping, and eating.
Jeff and Jill invited everyone over for dinner one of the nights. It was very delicious and tons of fun to be together. Thank you Jill for the yummy dinner. Jeff has quite the little (actually huge) set up at his house. Jace loved seeing all his toys and animals. While the rest of us tried to hide how jealous we all were of his great house and yard.
Here are some pictures from our trip:
Jace loved swimming in the heated pools even when it was snowing all around us.
I can never get enough kisses!

We made several Slurpee runs. Jace especially liked it when he could hold it himself.
Splashing in the tub with Preslie.
Jacer and Preslie having a ball in the tub.
Jace had to ride a cart every time we walked out in the halls. Preslie enjoyed the sweet rides also. Jacer also thought that he was in charge of pushing all of the buttons on the elevators. He would say star (which was by the lobby button) every time we would get on the elevators.
Cheap entertainment.
Jace and Garret watching "Bolt" Jacer's new favorite movie.
Jace was restless the one night so we took him to Petco to see the animals. He thought it was the best thing. He would run from the fish tanks, to the birds, to the hamsters until they closed and kicked us out.
Jacer thinks that there is nothing better than being naked or "nannied" as he says. He spent a lot of hours naked on our vacation.

Some other sweet details for our trip:
Garret was on a mission to come home with all clean clothes. Thanks to a washer and dryer in our room this was an easy thing. Even though I had bought some laundry soap he insisted on taking the soap from the cleaning carts. He found it to be such a thrill. He almost got caught several times. I can't even imagine where he got that from.
The hotel had activities planned all day long every day. We took Jacer into the activity room several times. He loved the bean bags and toys they had for little tots. Every time we had to go we would leave with him kicking and screaming all the way to the room. (something he is very good at right now)
Since neither of us ski we decided to go watch other people ski instead. It was so fun to watch them go off the big jumps. It is quite a site to see all of the ski slopes lit up at night. I tried to take a picture but it didn't turn out.
We had a great vacation and it has been hard to get back to reality.

Our entertainment
Jace is great entertainment. He is becoming quite the little stinker lately but he still keeps us laughing. Here are some photos for you.

Jacer's haircut
Jace was long overdue for a haircut. He hates clippers so that is why we put it off for so long. With some help from my cousin we managed to give him a cute little boy haircut. I can't believe how old it makes him look. He is growing up way too fast! Lately he has become quite the talker. We have been enjoying all the silly things that he says. Sometimes it even sounds like he is cussing under his breath. He gets that from his dad! :)

Jaceroni!
Here are some great pictures of Jace at his best. He loves Jello and pickles right now. If you open the fridge he will grab one of the two before you can catch him.
I am not a very good blogger!
I am sure you can all tell that I am not very good at the blogging thing. I just have too many other things to do. So here is a quick recap of December. Please see Shelli's blog for the Webb Christmas party and Garret's b-day pictures. Whenever she is around I don't take very many pictures because the pictures she takes always turn out much better.
We had a great time with Garret's family in SLC. It was so much fun to be with them for the holidays. Jay and Josie give us the fun weekend in SLC for Christmas. It is a fun tradition that we look forward to every year. They also spoiled us with a gorgeous temple picture. Thanks for everything. We love you!
Garret turned the big "26" on December 21. We celebrated with two big parties. One on Saturday with his family and one on sunday with my family. It is also my brother Ty's birthday on December 22nd. So we had a joint party for them. It was fun to finally have a house big enough for everyone to come over.
On Christmas day we slept in until 8:30. It was so nice to get some much needed rest. Garret was so lucky this year and was able to have Christmas off. I was pretty excited and so was he. When Jace woke up we took him downstairs to see his presents from Santa.
Santa had brought him some of the cars from the movie "Cars". They were just sitting among his presents. He liked them so much that we had a hard time convincing him to open his other presents. I ended up unwrapping more than half of his gifts.
After opening our presents we headed over to my parents for breakfast and of course more presents. My dad made each 0f his kids a really cute shelf. They also gave us two big totes of food storage, plastic bags, etc. We were pretty excited to get some much needed supplies. It makes our food storage look very nice.
Jace received so many fun presents from his grandparents this year. He got a cute bear that he can sit on, church outfit, and toys from Grandpa Jay and Grandma Josie. And from my parents he got a wagon, a rocking chair, P.J.'s and toys. My mom even made him a tool belt to go with his new tools. Thanks heavens they are only plastic or we would have many holes in all our walls.
